James P. Griffith, MD
Director, Professor Med-Psych


Dr. Griffith is a native of Charleston, West Virginia. He attended the College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University prior to entering the WVU School of Medicine after  three years of study. He graduated from the School of Medicine in 1985.
He completed the combined residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the Charleston Division of the WVU School of Medicine and Charleston Area Medical Center in 1990. He joined the faculty that same year, and currently holds the academic rank of Professor of Internal Medicine and Psychiatry. Dr. Griffith is also the Medical Director of Psychiatric Service for CAMC, Director of the Internal Medicine/Psychiatry Residency Program, and Associate Dean for Student Services of the West Virginia University School of Medicine, Charleston Division. Dr Griffith also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Charleston Area Medical Center and the CAMC Housing Corporation.
Dr. Griffith lives in Charleston with his wife, Marla. He enjoys exercising, basketball,  fishing, and Mountaineer athletics.

Hani Nazha, MD
Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Psychiatry


Dr. Nazha Graduated from University of Damascus, School of Medicine in 2004. He worked on his Master Degree in Human Anatomy and Cell Biology especially in Neuroanatomy.  
He completed the combined residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the Charleston Division of the WVU School of Medicine and Charleston Area Medical Center in 2012 and joined the faculty of the Internal Medicine and the Psychiatry Department in the same year as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Psychiatry.
He is interested in Psychosomatic Medicine, Anatomy of Neuropsychiatry and Psychopharmacology and rounds with residents and medical students on consult liaison service and on inpatient General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Nazha enjoys cooking, socializing with friends and listening to classical music.
